Richard Money - v Boston United, 23/12/2006
WE GO into the game at Boston United knowing that we are going through a somewhat testing period with regards to injuries and suspensions.
With both Ian Roper and Martin Butler ruled out after amassing five yellow cards, we are also missing Dean Keates, Darren Wrack, Allan Picken and, of course, the recently-departed Mark Kinsella, whilst recent signings Par Cederqvist and Geordie Lyall are unavailable until January.
We know that it's going to be a physical and competitive encounter; so far in matches like this we have stood up to the test well and we have to make sure that we take our opportunity to play.
It's going to be a difficult game against a side that has picked up two good wins in the last couple of games, so we hope that we can come through it unscathed and with a positive result.
With so many games coming up in such a short space of time, one or two of our youngsters will be given the opportunity to step up from the mark and take their chance. I have every faith in them to be able to do this and they will learn a lot from the experience as Mark Bradley did when he came on during the second half at Wrexham last weekend.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of those supporters who will be making the long trip to Boston in order to give us the backing and support that we are going to need.
RICHARD MONEY
