rmTHERE is great belief and expectation amongst the players and a performance like the one against Bolton Wanderers on Tuesday evening has done us no harm whatsoever.

I genuinely felt that we gave a good account of ourselves against what is an established Premiership side. I couldn't have asked for any more from my players; we pushed them all the way, played some good football and created plenty of chances.

We now face another big game with a trip to Bristol Rovers as we look to get our season back on track away from home. If we are to be successful, we can't rely on our home form alone and face two tricky away assignments within the space of a few days.

Bristol Rovers have spent £200,000 on Ricky Lambert recently, which is certainly a statement of their intentions, whilst Shrewsbury Town - who we face on Tuesday evening - have one of the biggest wage bills in League Two.

We are looking forward to both matches; we have been in good form in recent games and hope that this can continue on Saturday.

As ever I would like to thank those supporters who will be making the trip. You were in very good voice on Tuesday to make it a cracking atmosphere and I would like to think that we will receive similar backing in these two away games.
