-HAVING completed a successful five-game block, we must now push on from here and look to achieve our targets during the course of the next five-game block which starts at Barnet on Saturday.

I find that breaking the season up into nine five-game blocks helps to keep the players' minds sharp and focussed on what we are trying to achieve. It is dangerous to read too much into the League table at this stage, but that said, I am happy with the way in which we have started the season as it gives us a nice solid foundation on which to build.

Barnet away is always going to be a tricky fixture, but we have a strong and confident dressing room with an experienced back bone to the team.

We have got to be brave, show no fear of losing and go out there and win football matches. I am delighted that we are still unbeaten and naturally hope that this will continue this weekend, but I am not going to get too carried away.

I want to make sure that we are resolute and tough to beat, qualities that are important whatever level you are playing at.

I am thoroughly enjoying being back managing in England and can't wait for each new game to come around. The fantastic experience that I gained from managing abroad has really stood me in good stead and I would recommend it to anyone.

Working with different mentalities in different cultures improves you so much both as a coach and as a person and I am delighted to be able to pass this experience on here at Walsall FC.

As ever, I would like to thank our supporters for the excellent backing that we are continuing to receive. You have an important role to play this season and I would like to take this opportunity to thank those of you who will be making the trip to Underhill.... Let's hear you in good voice from the first whistle to the last!
