LOOKING back at last weekend's final away game of the season at Huddersfield, I thought that we looked comfortable for the first 40 minutes, however, after a slight lapse in concentration we found ourselves a goal down going into the interval.

I stressed to the lads at half-time the importance of displaying the same positive attitude in the second period and also sticking to our game plan, but we were caught out early on and couldn't find a way back into the game.

We want to end the season on a winning note with the players returning to the high standards that they set themselves earlier in the campaign. It's been a season of real progress for the club and we are fully focussed on finishing as high as we can and giving you, the supporters, something to cheer about on Saturday.

Hartlepool United came up from League Two with us last season and find themselves in mid-table safety. That said, they will be just as determined as us to go into the summer break on the back of a victory, so I expect it to be a keenly-contested encounter.
