THE SADDLERS completed the permanent capture of left-back, Paul Boertienon July 27th 2007.
The 28 year-old came through the ranks at Carlisle United, where he made just 21 first-team appearances before landing a £250,000 move into the top-flight with Derby County in March 1999.
Making a total of 126 outings at Premier League and Championship level for The Rams, he had a brief loan spell at Crewe Alexandra in February 2000 before spending a month at Notts County in January 2004.
Last term he made four appearances whilst on loan at Chesterfield as well as 11 outings for Derby as they secured Premiership status.
