CLAYTON Ince has described the 2007/08 campaign as a 'good learning experience'.

After promotion from League Two 12 months ago, The Saddlers consolidated with a twelfth place finish in League One and were amongst the play-off hopefuls for long periods.

Ince believes that, although there were a few low points along the way, it was a season that has given the club a good platform to build from.

"I look back at the season as a good learning experience," he said. "We had our highs and we had our disappointments but there is definitely something to build on for the next campaign.

"What we have to do now is learn from the season and keep developing.

"I always want to keep improving and I'll challenge myself again next season to push on further."
