KEVIN Betsy's second goal for the club wasn't enough to keep our play-off hopes alive as we slipped to a 3-1 home defeat at the hands of AFC Bournemouth.

"The performance just wasn't good enough," said the on-loan man. "Credit to Bournemouth, they showed more than us and got the points.

"It's always an uphill battle when you concede an early goal, but we managed to get back on level terms only to concede again within a minute.

"The manager sets high standards and expects a lot from us, but we didn't perform and ended up paying the price.

"It's been a good season for the club generally and the hope now is that we can finish on a high with a couple of wins.

"From a personal point of view, I have enjoyed playing regularly and, obviously, it is nice to have a couple of goals under my belt. It's just disappointing that we haven't been able to capitalise upon these last two home games."
