ALASSANE N'Dour has today admitted that, after making his first Saddlers' start on Saturday, he is willing to 'play anywhere' if that means keeping his place.

N'Dour slotted into The Saddlers' midfield during the 2-1 victory over Tranmere and capped an impressive performance with a goal.

However, with experience of playing at left-back, and with Paul Boertien currently sidelined with a broken toe, the Senegalese International could well give Richard Money added options in this area.

"Last week was very good for me," he said. "To start the game and score was a special moment.

"I like playing in midfield but I have played left-back, so if I'm needed there at any point then I don't mind. I'll play wherever the Gaffer asks me to play.

"There are five games left and I just want to play as many of them as I can. I'll play anywhere as long as I'm playing. I'm enjoying it at Walsall and want the season to end in a good way - for me and the team."
