SADDLERS' boss, Richard Money was a happy man after seeing his side run out worthy winners against Tranmere Rovers. "I thought that it was a really brave performance," he said. "It's never easy to bounce back from conceding an early goal but the players showed tremendous character.

"There was a real togetherness between the players and the supporters today; the backing that we received was the best that it has been here in my two years. They gave us what we asked for and contributed to our victory.

"We'll keep going and aim to win the last five games to see where that takes us. It's all about bottle and character at this stage of the season.

"It was an important victory for us today; we've always had a never-say-die attitude and the crowd really kept us going.

"Everyone was together and that is exactly the way it should be."
