BOERTIEN READY FOR ROVERS TEST
PAUL Boertien believes The Saddlers can get their play-off push back, starting first with a victory over sixth-placed Tranmere on Saturday (kick-off 3.00pm).
Richard Money's men are five points away from this weekend's visitors, so three points against Rovers would narrow the gap going into the final few games of the campaign.
"We're only five points off the play-offs with a game in hand, so we're still in there with a chance," explained the former Derby man. "We're going to have to go on a good run from now until the end of the season to get in.
"Every game is obviously a hard game at this stage of the season because the points matter for both teams and we need to just start picking up points whoever we play against.
"Whether it's against the top of the table team or whoever, we've just got to start winning and we need to start on Saturday against Tranmere."
Saturday is our Football Fun Day! A special ticket offer of one adult and up to juniors for just £10 is available. Click here to find out more.
