CLUB DOCTOR ON HIS BIKE FOR GOOD CAUSE
WALSALL FC Doctor, Ralph Rogers will be cycling from Lands End to John O'Groats this summer to raise much-needed funds for underprivileged children.
"As a young man I was very athletic and played a lot of sports," he said. "However, over the years, while getting more involved in my studies, residency and then a Sports Medicine Fellowship, I found less time to involve myself in exercise, even though I would encourage my patients to do so.
"It has always been my dream to support a children's charity and give something back to the community. By doing this ride from Lands End to John O'Groats, it will be the start of what I intend to be a series of challenging fund-raising rides that I shall compete in over the next few years.
"I would be grateful for your support. By donating you will be directly supporting the work of the Herbalife Family Foundation in association with NCH - the children's charity.
"Through this unique partnership and the generosity of many Herbalife Distributors, the first Casa Herbalife project was established in the UK in 2006. This project is still going strong, supporting children who, through no fault of their own, have to act as the primary carer to an adult in their family. Often with no support or outside help, these children are deprived of many of the benefits of childhood that most youngsters take for granted.
"By donating you can help make a difference to the lives of these children. Thank you for your support!"
