WESTON EXPECTING TOUGH TEST
RHYS Weston is expecting a tough test, and hot reception, tonight as The Saddlers travel to top-of-the-table Swansea City (kick-off 7.45pm).
Weston spent six years with Swansea's biggest rivals, Cardiff City, and the Welsh International knows just how partisan the home support can be.
"It will be interesting!" he joked. "I'm sure I'll get a good reception like I did when I went there with Port Vale last season!
"I'll just put some cotton wool in my ears and get about my business as best as I can. Seriously though, it is a tough place to go."
After getting back to winning ways on Saturday, the 27 year-old explained that, despite acknowledging tonight's game as one of the toughest trips of the season, The Saddlers go into the game full of confidence.
"Going to the League leaders on their home turf is a tough prospect but it's one we're looking forward to," he added. "The pressure will be on them and, despite the loss at Carlisle, we're on a decent run of form.
"We will be quietly confident that, if we go about our business the right way and stick to the work ethic we have stuck to all season, we might be good odds to cause a bit of an upset.
"When you're challenging for promotion, continuity is the key. The games continue to come thick and fast and there's always a different challenge ahead of you and there is no bigger challenge than Swansea City away."
