THE SADDLERS face a replay in the third round of the FA Cup, sponsored by E.On, as we were held to a goalless draw by Millwall.
Troy Deeney let fly with an early strike on two minutes that landed wide of the target.
Then Alex Nicholls looked to cut through the heart of The Lions' back-line in the next attack only for Paul Robinson to halt his progress.
After another Deeney effort curled wide, some space opened up for Jay Simpson in the ninth minute as he strike from outside the area was pushed over by Clayton Ince.
The visitors were starting to see a lot of the ball as the half went on, but Mark Bradley teed up Alex Nicholls for a strike on 19 minutes which Lenny Pidgeley in the visitors' goal pushed out for a corner that Ian Roper headed wide.
A foul on Nicholls by Ross Gaynor gave The Saddlers a free-kick in a good position which Daniel Fox delivered to the far post where Bradley's header failed to trouble Pidgeley.
A late challenge by Roper on Millwall new-boy, Adrian Forbes saw him receive a yellow card.
Michael Ricketts was forced to limp out of the action ten minutes before the break as he was replaced by new signing, Martin Brittain.
The ball fell out to Wrack from a corner but he fired well over as the rain started to fall heavily.
On the stroke of half-time, Nicholls almost caught out Pidgeley as he cleared, whilst Simpson dragged a low shot wide at the other end.
The half ended with Rhys Weston's dipping shot landing over.

There was a lively start to the second period as Nicholls had a shot blocked and from the resulting corner, the visitors had to scramble clear under pressure.
A foul on Forbes out wide by Scott Dann saw a free-kick delivered onto the head of Zak Whitbread who was off target.
With 58 minutes on the clock, a corner by Brittain caused panic amongst The Lions' defence as Deeney attempted to turn the ball home from close range.
A neat effort by Weston on the hour saw him attempt to curl the ball home from the edge of the area, but the ball landed just the wrong side of the post.
The Saddlers were starting to turn the screw as a corner found its way to the far post where Bradley saw a half-volley bounce just over. Then Dann's header on to Deeney saw his powerful strike bravely blocked by Scott Barron.
Demontagnac limped out of the action as Edrissa Sonko took his place before another free-kick delivered deep into the danger zone caused more problems for Millwall as Roper looked to turn the ball home but was crowded out.
The game started to boil over after a late challenge by Ali Fuseini on Wrack sparked a melee. Fuseini was duly booked and moments later Wrack joined him in the book for a foul from behind on the same player.
As the clock ticked down, Deeney fired wide as he closed in on goal, whilst Ben May had an effort blocked by Roper as he looked to nick it for the visitors.
The Saddlers were pushing for a late winner but The Lions held firm to secure a replay, which will take place at The New Den on Tuesday, January 15th (kick-off 7.45pm). Ticket details will be announced here on www.saddlers.co.uk next week.
It means that both Walsall and Millwall will be in the fourth round draw, which takes place on BBC2 and Sky Sports News at 1.30pm on Monday. We will be ball number seven.
