BRADLEY MAKING HIS MARK
TEENAGE midfield man, Mark Bradley has played a key role in The Saddlers' recent impressive form.
The 19 year-old came on to good effect at Hartlepool before starting the last two games and scoring in each of them. "I felt confident and relaxed at Hartlepool and it gave me a good base on which to build in the last two games.
"To score my first senior goal at Doncaster and then follow it up with another against Huddersfield last weekend was fantastic for me, but it is a team game and I couldnt have asked for any more help from the players and staff around me.
"We've performed really well in the last three games and it was particularly nice to be able to put on a performance at home in the last game to show our fans what we are capable of.
"From a personal point of view I want to continue learning and getting better. My aim at the start of the season was to push on, break into the starting line-up and then stay there.
"It is now up to me to keep working hard and maintain my performance level. The dressing room is very positive with everyone enjoying their football right now and whilst Tranmere will provide us with another tough test on Friday, we can't wait for the game to come around."
Bradley links up with the Wales Under-21 squad on Sunday ready for their clash with Malta on Wednesday and will be looking to add to his one appearance so far. "I've been in the Under-21 squad on three occasions but have only appeared as a substitute once so far," he added. "Hopefully that will change and I get the opportunity to show what I can do."
Meanwhile The Saddlers have ended our interest in Icelandic trialist, Gylfi Einarsson.
