BANKS'S
IN MAY 2007, Banks's took their association with Walsall Football Club to a new level with the renaming of Bescot Stadium to the Banks's Stadium.
This sponsorship followed an 11-year association between Marston's -owned Banks's and The Saddlers.
Since 1996, Banks's have been proud shirt sponsors and, as Marston's Beer Company Marketing Director, Peter Jackson, explained, the makers of traditional Midlands brews, Banks's Original and Banks's Bitter, are delighted to be continuing their relationship with Walsall FC.
"We are delighted to continue our long-running sponsorship with the Saddlers," he said. "Banks's beers are favourites in the West Midlands - as are Walsall FC with their iconic stadium in the heart of the region.
"We look forward to celebrating more success in League One during the coming season." Banks's are also set to become sponsor of Walsall FC's Essington-based training ground from July."
Saddlers' Chief Executive, Roy Whalley, added:
"Walsall Football Club and Banks's have an excellent working relationship.
"Bank's are synonymous with the area and we are proud to carry their name in this unique and high-profile manner."
Banks's beers have been available to Saddlers fans over the years in three licensed locations on site - The Saddlers Club, Walsall FC and the Ramada Hotel.
Over the last 11 years more than 400,000 pints have been consumed.
From The Bonser Suite to the Stadium Suite, Banks's products are always available - be it on matchday or at one of the clubs many cabaret evenings, sporting dinners or private functions. To find out more about Banks's visit: www.bankssbeer.co.uk
