WALSALL-based EasyFit Roofs and Conservatories Ltd. are Walsall Football Club's shirt sponsors for the 2007/08 campaign.

EasyFit, who are based near to Bescot Stadium in West Bromwich Road, Tamebridge, are the largest Conservatory Company in the Midlands and Saddlers' Commercial Director, Roy Whalley is delighted with the agreement.

"It is tremendous that our new shirt sponsors are a Walsall-based company with major links to the local area," he said. "They are a young and rapidly expanding company and their name will already be well-known to our supporters through their extensive newspaper and television advertising campaigns.

"EasyFit are joining us at a very exciting time. Promotion has been achieved and the future is bright. "This is an excellent sponsorship for Walsall Football Club and we want the benefits to be two-fold by helping EasyFit with brand-awareness and, of course, to sell more conservatories.

Lifelong Saddlers' fan and EasyFit Director, Mark Gibbins, also expressed his delight with the sponsorship agreement.

"It is a great feeling for my company to become a major sponsor of the club I support. "However, this sponsorship is not just about sentiment because we believe that our link with Walsall Football Club will compliment our already extensive media advertising by further putting the brand of EasyFit in front of a national audience.

"We are opening new branches in both Solihull and Leamington and, with over a million visitors to the Banks's Stadium per year, this sponsorship will also give us a very high profile locally. "It is a win-win situation for all concerned."

Fellow EasyFit Director, Paul Wilding, explained that there will be many ongoing benefits to Walsall and its supporters as a result of today's agreement. "We will be paying Walsall FC commission on each conservatory sale as a result of the sponsorship," he said. "We will also be rewarding season-ticket holders who buy a conservatory from us with a free season-ticket for the 2008/09 season.
