FIRST LEAGUE VISIT TO WHADDON ROAD
BOTH sides go into our first-ever League visit to Cheltenham Town needing the points for different reasons.
Saddlers' boss, Richard Money will be without Paul Boertien who has a broken toe and the long-serving, Darren Wrack (pictured) who is laid low with a calf problem.
Other than that he has a fully fit squad to choose from with Alassane N'Dour hoping to make his second start for the club after putting in an impressive, goalscoring performance in the last game against Tranmere Rovers.
Youngster, Richard Taundry is expected to continue at left-back with Ishmel Demontagnac also hoping to have some involvement in the proceedings after he notched the winner after coming off the substitutes' bench last weekend.
Cheltenham Town go into the game in 18th place in the table, four points out of the relegation zone. They have won nine of their 21 home League games, conceding just 18 goals in the process, and have just one defeat in their last ten outings on home soil.
John Finnigan, Michael Townsend and former Saddlers' youngster, Gavin Caines are all ruled out for the rest of the season through injury, whilst Damian Spencer visited a specialist on Thursday in a bid to sort out his knee problem and could also be sidelined for the remainder of the campaign.
Meanwhile Alex Russell (stomach), Alan Wright (Achilles) and Craig Armstrong (ankle) have been undergoing treatment in a bid to be fit for Saturday and increase manager, Keith Downing's options.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS MATCH IS ALL-TICKET FOR WALSALL SUPPORTERS. DO NOT TRAVEL WITHOUT A TICKET. A LIMITED NUMBER OF TICKETS WILL BE ON SALE UP UNTIL 3.00pm ON FRIDAY AFTERNOON FROM THE BANKS'S STADIUM AND THE FOOTBALL SHOP IN WALSALL TOWN CENTRE.
