THE SADDLERS lock horns with fellow play-off hopefuls, Southend United on Saturday (kick-off 3.00pm).

Richard Money takes his side to Essex later today with youngster, Richard Taundry (pictured) available once more after completing his three-match ban.

Midfield man, Mark Bradley has returned from International duty with the Welsh under-21s, whilst Alassane N'Dour is back to full fitness following a recent thigh problem.

There was a blow for Ishmel Demontagnac who picked up a knee injury whilst playing for the reserves on Tuesday evening.

Emerging central defender, Manny Smith put in another solid display as the second-string chalked up a convincing 3-0 victory over Stoke City to further stake his claims for a starting place.

However, he faces competition from loan capture, Aaron Brown who joined the club from Premier League outfit, Reading on Thursday afternoon.

Southend United go into the game in fifth place in the table with five defeats from their 19 League games on home soil.

They are on a run of eight games without defeat and secured a 1-0 win at Swindon Town in their last game.

Front-man, Alex Revell played for the reserves this week after bouncing back from a hernia injury that has laid him low recently. However, Saturday's game is likely to be too soon for the former Brighton man to make  return to action.

Nick Bailey and on-loan Wolves man, Charlie Mulgrew have recovered from hamstring problems, whilst Che Wilson will miss the rest of the season with an Achilles injury.

It will be our first visit to Roots Hall since a goalless draw in February 2006 under the stewardship of Kevan Broadhurst.

If you are unable to make it along to the game, fear not as Saddlers World will have live, full match commentary.
