SADDLERS HEAD FOR ELLAND ROAD
THE SADDLERS travel to Leeds United on Saturday with just two points separating the two teams.
The game will be televised live on Sky Sports and manager, Richard Money will have virtually a full squad to choose from.
The only absentee will be youngster, Richard Taundry who sits out the second of his three-match ban following his red card against Brighton & Hove Albion earlier this month.
Edrissa Sonko (pictured) and Michael Dobson both recovered from their respective knee injuries to feature in last weekend's 1-1 draw with Nottingham Forest whilst Alassane N'Dour seems to have shaken off the thigh injury that has laid him low in recent weeks.
Leeds United go into the game in 10th place in the League One table, on the back of a 3-3 draw with struggling, Port Vale in their last game. They have lost four of their 19 home League games so far.
Jonathan Douglas featured for United's reserve team earlier in the week in what was his first taste of action since suffering a knee injury here at the Banks's Stadium back in December. However, a first-team appearance on Saturday may be a step too far for the Republic of Ireland International.
Andrew Hughes will serve the first of a two-match suspension following his booking at Vale Park last weekend. The on-loan Alan Sheehan stands by to replace him.
Fellow loanee, Dougie Freedman was on the mark twice in the last game for his first goals for the club since his temporary switch from Crystal Palace earlier this month.
Meanwhile former Saddlers' loan man, Peter Sweeney has not figured for United since the end of February.
Since our 1-1 draw just before Christmas, there has been a change in the Leeds hot-seat with Gary McAllister replacing the Newcastle-bound Dennis Wise.
It will be our first visit to Elland Road since an FA Cup third round replay in January 1995 when we went down by five goals to two after a brave fight against our then top-flight opponents.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS GAME WILL HAVE A 5.20pm KICK-OFF...
If you can't make it to the game, Saddlers World will have live, full match commentary from Elland Road. Saddlers World is the place for exclusive interviews, online match highlights and live match commentaries. Click here to find out more!
